Imagine if poems could talk to each other. Imagine if the words on the page could get up from the table and begin dancing with one another. Such unexpected spontaneity, full of creative spark and combustion, is what “Talking With Our Mouths Full” is all about. 

It’s a live, online poetry reading and conversation between internationally renowned poets from around the globe. In any given episode, words leap across continents as poets from four or more different countries let their poetry take leave of the page and intertwine in spontaneous repartee.

It’s poetry. It’s conversation. It’s a direct download streaming from that place inside each of us where poetry comes from.

Co-Hosts Craig Czury and Kimberly Crafton introduce audiences to 3-4 poets each episode, from countries across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Guests read their poems, but then breathe additional magic into the words by interweaving the lines and their combined personal experiences into a global conversation certain to revive and inspire.

Presented primarily in English, Talking With Our Mouths Full is hosted (via GoToMeeting) by The Westchester Biotech Project every two weeks on Fridays at Noon (EST).
